CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY

PREMISE

In various contemporary photographs I can detect differente xpressive values of 20th-century contemporary art becausethey have the same visual structure of the main artisticmovements. From Impressionism onwards in particular theelement of fusion with greater determination is undoubtedlythe essence of conceptualism that was definedchrfotografia_contemporaneaonologically in the sixties-seventies but concretelyemerged in much artistic production pre-conceptual andpost-conceptual. Basically I intend to clarify at least for myphotographs I prefer to give greater interest mainly to conceptual way before you even worry about the form technical. The conceptual essence of photographicExpressionism is completed when the image through thecompositional structure is able to convey feelings andemotions. Maybe you need to remember that conceptual artresize significantly shape and technique to give space to theconcept that can be represented by any expressivelanguage, including the photograph that  with thisfeature is definitely contemporary. Lately the interest of art criticism and also of markets has soared so much so that theartistic director at Victoria/Albert Musem of London and theCounty Museum in Los Angeles Dr. Charlotte Cotton hasfound the need to publish an essay called “La fotografia come arte contemporanea” which soon became an essential reference point for theentire cultural sector  contemporary. I share the didacticstrategy posted in the book that suitably indicates theappreciation of the photographic work live through visits todifferent exhibition spaces where Visual contemplation ofthe observer appears to be spontaneous but especially freefrom any influences that could send any printed artworkaccompanied by a critical indication.

THE CONCETTUALITA ‘ AND REALITY IN CONTEMPORARYPHOTOGRAPHY

Now we know that the photograph occupies a prestigiouslocation in the Visual language of contemporary art. Andneedless to say the concept that the photographic imageneed not be true of reality, but maintaining a conceptualessence, is to be interpreted. Contemporary photography toidentify its conceptual essence highlights perfectly itscontemporary identity, it is still clear that the conceptualphotography can never be completely dematerializedbecause the bond with reality even when interpretedembrionalmente remains. Given that the possibilities offeredby digital technology allows different egalleria_contemporanea_onlinentities ofmanipulation but excessive alteration, weakens theconceptual understanding because excess grinds or cancelall ties with reality. Consequentially when more limited is thetechnical handling of the camera the greater the bondconcept-real. Then you have to pay close attention to welldefine the boundary between photography and digital art.The conceptual aspect contributes to the artist’s expressiveresearch constantly abandoning pre-established schemasthrough continuous experimentation embodied a growingphotographic Expressionism that has its startup from view ofthe artist-photographer. The result is enclosed in acontemporary realization free from academic schemes, without improvisations and docked with a design path withthe aim to arouse interest and emotions through variou sissues; social-cultural – historical-political – energy –environmental youth – immigration – – – – food-populist pro-European-religious
